Mindful Singing Bowl Meditation

Everything in this Universe is vibrating, and each of us is a unique, resonating entity. Playing a set of Master-quality Tibetan bowls that are from 200 to 400 years old, Shakti creates a soundscape designed to deeply relax us and assist us in tuning into our inner awareness.

Sound Bath Immersion

Tibetan Singing bowls, also known as Himalayan singing bowls - have been used for meditation and healing for over 2,500 years. These sacred instruments produce rich, harmonic sounds that support deep relaxation, stress relief, and a sense of well-being. In the second half of the 20th century, they were introduced in the West and have since evolved into a mainstream therapeutic modality worldwide.

During a sound bath immersion, the vibrations of Tibetan singing bowls massage the body on a cellular level, stimulating a natural healing response. Their soothing frequencies help slow the breath, reduce heart rate and blood pressure, and release tension, anxiety, and fatigue.

My sound bath sessions feature 20- 25 Master-quality Tibetan bowls, ranging from 200 to 400 years old. Their immersive soundscape - enhanced by gongs and chimes - restores balance to the body and mind, and promotes emotional well-being.

Mindful Sound
Meditation

I am a UCLA certified Mindfulness Facilitator and a member of the International Meditation Teachers Association. I lead guided Mindfulness meditations, a secular form of the Vipassana tradition. My sessions are designed to support stress reduction, emotional balance, and present-moment awareness.

Mindfulness meditation invites us to fully experience the present moment with openness, acceptance, and without judgment. Put simply, mindful meditation is paying attention to the present moment – one moment at a time.

Each meditation is accompanied by a set of 20 - 25 ancient, Master-quality Tibetan Singing bowls, as well as gongs and chimes. These therapeutic instruments create a rich, vibrational soundscape that promotes deep relaxation, nervous system regulation, and inner stillness.

This integrative experience helps us connect with our awareness through the healing modality of sound.

Testimonials

“You have certainly brought so much light to us this year. 🙏🏾 ✨ I can’t wait for the many new memories we’ll continue to create together!!”

Thomas L. - Long Beach, CA

“My experience with Shakti’s bowls has been a life-changing miracle for me. I was so shut for over a decade from a lifetime of traumatic experiences, including numerous near-death experiences. When i started this journey, I was so tense all over my body; it was painful. it was challenging even to unclench my jaw. I could relax, but as soon as I wasn't focused on it, it would clench again and again. I’ve been stuck in my parasympathetic reaction of fight or flight. It was exhausting. my quality of life was almost nonexistent. After 12 years, my mind and body are finally starting to heal. The singing bowls put a chink in my armor. it has been a whole-body healing. I got my vagus nerve to calm my mind and gut. My life is transforming! I owe this and more to shakti and my journey with her! I am so grateful to her for giving me this opportunity to heal through her Tibetan signing bowls meditation.”

Deanna - Santa Maria, CA

“I was recovering from Basel cell surgery on my leg, in extreme pain (once the Lidocaine wore off!) My acupuncturist recommended “healing Sounds, for wound healing” As I was frantically searching online for it, a Bodhisattva post popped upon my Instagram “O Come O Come Emmanuel” Bodhisattva Christmas 2023, Shakti was playing the Tibetan bowls! I fell asleep and it kept repeating throughout the night as I would wake up to it all night. I realized that was this was the “wound healing” music I needed, and I had been searching for.”

Brenda - San Francisco, CA

“I have been very stressed and anxious, and I have ADD, which has made meditating very difficult for me. But the sound of Shakti's singing bowls, and her guidance, are so peaceful and grounding, that I've been able to focus. I've always felt more relaxed and at peace afterwards. I highly recommend her meditations to anyone.”
